KSDK--Legendary radio announcer Paul Harvey died at an Arizona hospital on Saturday.
He had many ties to our area, most recently Kimmswick.
"I remember him coming into enjoy quite time in Kimmswick, said Diane Meyer, of the Blue Owl Restaurant. "He would come down and visit and bring his wife and his son and visit family that lived here.
The Harveys were known to vacation at their home near Kimmswick. They often ate at the Blue Owl Bakery and Restaurant. Paul Harvey's favorite was the country gravy and rhubarb pie. The Blue Owl staff remembered Harvey as a gracious man.
