KSDK -- He said it felt like he'd stepped on
a bomb. A 17-year-old Imperial boy is undergoing treatment in the burn
unit at St. John's Mercy Medical Center.
Jake Young was on his way home from a friend's home Wednesday night,
when he says he accidentally stepped on some kind of live wire.
His mom showed NewsChannel 5 pictures of the burn. Claudia Young
said Jake is doing better today, but could not leave his hospital room
because he suffered extensive muscle and nerve damage in his leg.
