KSDK -- The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor St. Louis Bridge have postponed a scheduled lane closure along Interstate 55 due to expected inclement weather.
The right lanes of both north and southbound I-55 at Route 61 and at Isle Dubois Creek, south of Festus, were scheduled to be closed Tuesday, February 10. Crews will now close the right lanes southbound at both bridges on Thursday, and the right lanes of northbound on Friday. These plans are dependent upon the weather.
The right lanes at both bridges in both directions will be closed for three months. The project is expected to be completed in October.
