Injuries reported in serious Arnold accident

Arnold, MO (KMOV) – Investigators in Arnold, Missouri are piecing together a serious afternoon accident.
Police tell News 4 there were no fatalities; however there were injuries as the result of a two vehicle accident near the intersection of Telegraph and Tenbrook Road.

KSDK -- At least three people were injured following a two vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Arnold, the Rock Community Fire Protection District said.

According to Ron Harder, a fire department spokesman, the accident occurred about noon on Telegraph Road near Arnold-Tenbrook Road. Firefighters had to use the 'jaws of life' to extract three people in one of the vehicles.

Harder said the rear seat passenger was flown by helicopter to St. Louis University Hospital in critical condition. The driver and front passenger were taken by ambulance to St. Anthony's Hospital in South County with neck and spinal injuries. They remain in stable condition.

It has not been announced if the driver of the other vehicle sustained any injuries, Harder said.
