For 18 years, Scott Neibert has put in the time and dedication to give area youth opportunities on the football field.
Since 1991, Neibert has been involved in a variety of roles with the Jefferson County Youth Association. He currently is the coaching director for the JCYA.
His hard work hasn't gone unnoticed, either.
Neibert, a native of Arnold, was recently selected to be a member of USA Football's Youth Football Rules Committee. He is one of 10 members of the national advisory panel for USA Football, the sport's national governing body on youth and amateur levels.
"It's really fun for me personally to be recognized," said Neibert, who is a teacher's aide at Fox High School. "It's a very big honor. It's nice to be recognized after 18 years of coaching football."
