At their meeting Thursday, members of the Jefferson College Board of Trustees voted to amend the institution's policy banning alcohol on school property to now allow it during particular fundraising activities. The decision over whether to allow liquor at various occasions will be left to the discretion of the school president.
The vote to amend the policy was 5-1, with board member Gary Davis casting the lone vote against.
