Students and the community at large are invited to learn more about foreign countries during the upcoming International Education Week, a nationwide effort that will be observed at Jefferson College.
"This is something that the State Department is advertising across the country," Lisa Hollander, a Jefferson College history professor said. "The point is to celebrate global concepts. We just want to remind ourselves that the United States is part of the global community."
International Education Week is a joint effort of the U.S. Department of State and Department of Education.
