Antonia Elementary School recently received recognition as one of only
six elementary schools in the state to be named a Missouri School of
Character.
The school, located in Arnold, also has learned that it is a profile school for the National School of Character Award.
"This recognition is given to a select number of schools in the country," said Mark Rudanovich, principal of Antonia Elementary.
The
school celebrated with a Character Celebration Spirit Day on March 4.
Students and staff dressed in rodeo attire for the day. The school's
student council planned the event. Each grade level met for a
celebration assembly and there were games at recess that included hula
hoop lasso, bean bag throw, water gun challenge, and horse riding
obstacle.
