Nick Blase of Hillsboro was able to watch the birth of his son in
Fenton in early December.
Through the modern miracle of the
Internet, he was able to witness his girlfriend, Bobbie Vaughn of
Festus, give birth to Dane Alexander at 9:21 a.m. Dec. 2 at SSM St.
Clare Health Center. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and is the
couple's first child.
Blase used a Webcam to see the birth. He had purchased one month of Internet usage specifically to see his baby born.
