Fans of Wynonna Judd will be able to get in the holiday mood when the country music star comes to Arnold in December.
Gina Sokolich, Arnold’s special events coordinator, reported Monday that Judd has agreed to terms to perform her Christmas show Sunday, Dec. 13, at the facility on the Fox High School campus.
“It’s a Christmas show from Wynonna Judd,” Sokolich said. “She has accepted our offer — we just have to get her contracts back.”
Sokolich said the Judd Christmas show is separate from the 2009-10 Rickman Auditorium Concert Series. That series is to include performances from Rick Springfield on Sept. 12, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on Oct. 24, the Legends of Branson tribute artist show on Jan. 9, 2010, and a fourth concert that has yet to be announced.
