Working diligently to draw teenage patrons, the Windsor Branch of the Jefferson County Library plans to offer special programs throughout January geared toward youth ages 12 and older.
The library will sponsor the first Super Bowl of reading – a competition between each of the three branches of the library to see which branches’ teens can read the mot pages during January. Those wishing to participate can pick up a reading log at the Youth Services desk beginning Jan. 2. Reading logs must be returned by the close of the library Jan. 30. If justified by a solid amount of interest and participation, library staff hopes to make the Super Bowl an annual event.
