St. Louis — Area police officers and firefighters will lace up their gloves and square off in the 21st annual Budweiser Guns 'N Hoses boxing show at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Scottrade Center, 1401 Clark Avenue. In addition to 17 boxing matches, the event's ceremonial "10 Count" will honor seven police officers and two firefighters who have died on duty since last year's event.
Boxers represent 21 police and fire departments in the metropolitan areas of Missouri and Illinois. Proceeds benefit the St. Louis BackStoppers.
