Hello, Welcome to Arnolds newest online Forum. I would like to start off by thanking Will for his years of providing us with Arnold Talk, a place to discuss, argue, meet and blow off steam. He provided a great service to us by doing so. Thank you Will for allowing me to moderate and Admin or your forum. I am flattered by the trust you put in me to do that. It was a sad day to see Arnold Talk go, and with it so many discussions.
I would like everyone to be aware that I did not start this forum to compete with Will in any way. When the Admins were notified that it would be shutting down, the first thing I did was to contact Will and make sure his intent was to permanently close Arnold Talk. Also, I told him that if he was indeed closing it down, that I would probably start something to fill the gap, and try to not let it all go to Topix. I have avoided advertising this forum, until shortly before Arnold Talk closes so as not to jeopardize any sales he may have in the works, as Arnold Talk has been HIS baby.
However, as I said, I really do not want to see this go to Topix. This forum style is much better to my way of thinking, and I also would like to see it run locally. I hope others see it the same way, and that it thrives, however, if not, then so be it. I will only be out $6.00 for the year!
