KSDK -- One man is hospitalized and another in custody following a domestic dispute early Monday morning in House Springs, Missouri.
Jefferson County Sheriff Oliver Boyer said that at 8:06 a.m. his deputies responded to the 5100 block of Sycamore Springs in the Sycamore Springs Mobile Home Park.
Investigators believe that 36-year-old William Weitzel was upset that his former girlfriend was in bed with another man. They said Weitzel entered the victim's bedroom, threatened both with a gun and then shot the woman's lover in the head and hand. The wound to the head was a grazing wound and not considered serioius.
