After years of seeing their bills set at a fixed rate of about $62 per quarter-year, complaints of sewer bills ranging from $150 to $300 have flooded Arnold City Hall and the offices of the water district that serves the city.
The decision to increase sewer rates was made by the Arnold City Council in late December to make up for an expected $500,000 shortfall in revenue.
