Launching pies into people's faces is no longer the province of PETA demonstrators and anti-globalization protestors.
Last week, Seckman Middle School students got in on the act.
After days of collecting donations to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House charity, students were given the opportunity to hurl whipped cream pies into the faces of selected instructors.
"Kids donated money to specific jars with teachers' faces on them," said Wade Shreve, a district teacher who helps coordinate the "Character Council," a student organization that helps stage fundraising events.
