The Ramada Limited and Suites on Ridge Drive in Arnold will change over
to the Rosemont Senior Living Centre and offer extended stay for
seniors, in addition to rooms for overnight guests.

AmerenUE donates truck to Arnold

On Nov. 12, AmerenUE donated a used 37-foot bucket truck to the City of
Arnold. The truck will be used for streetlight maintenance and
installation, including installation of holiday lighting, tree trimming
and other municipal purposes.

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- A Madison County judge has ruled it was not illegal for a man to ask to tickle kids.

Charles Douglas in September was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct after he approached parents at a Glen Carbon park and asked if he could tickle their kids.

At the time he was charged, the 58-year-old Douglas said he has done a "tickle monster" routine with children, and that it's simply a "joking thing."
