Their Website

Dougs burger bar has opened on Imperial main at the site of the old Twisters Bar. We visited on a Thurs evening. We found the food to be good, with a menu reminiscent of Red Robin, though not as extensive. We found generous portion size, and good burgers, fries, cheese sticks and a salad. No smoking until 8 pm. And on Thurs at 6 there is a duo called Broken. The act was a cover group, acoustic guitar, and I found them quite good.

Owned by the same folks who own Cowboy Pizza. ...

KSDK -- At a time when prices for everything seem to be on the rise, a restaurant is offering old fashioned prices for the day.

Customers at the Old Spaghetti Factory can get a salad, bread, spaghetti and spumoni for only $2.35 Tuesday at all of the restaurant's locations. General Manager Soren Heilskoz said it is because the restaurant is celebrating its 40th anniversary.

Kathies Custard looks as if it is almost ready to open. The building looks as if it is finished and the parking lot has been paved. I am just wondering if they will open this year or wait until next spring since winter is upon us.

The Jeffco Diner is now open for business

3874 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold Mo (636)467-7278

We visited this evening for dinner. The place has been cleaned, and painted and is much brighter than it used to be. Very simple, not much decoration. The waitress was very nice, you can tell she is new to this, but she did a good job. The menu is pretty simple, Breakfast always available with a good variety. They have their own take on a slinger called a Jeffco's Dinger. Looks good, I am gonna try it soon.

Tilted Kilt at Arnold Crossroads

According to the Leader, there is a restaurant coming to Arnold Crossroads, where Kriegers was called The Tilted Kilt. It describes it as :"a Celtic themed restaurant and sports bar that is decorated with American, Irish Scottish and English "curiosities", including slightly bawdy limericks placed strategically throught the pub.

After looking at the website, my wife described it as an Irish Hooters!
