			<description>It was a short program that organizers hope made a lasting impression.



The 2009 Jefferson College Frugal Fashion Show held on March 25 at the Hillsboro campus' Student Center lasted about a half hour, but carried the important message that students do not need to go into hock to pay for nice clothing.



All of the students who served as models in the third annual event had been directed to put together an outfit costing around &#36;10 that would be appropriate to wear during a job interview.

The 2009 version of the annual gathering of hundreds of thousands of students from Jefferson County and surrounding counties is scheduled to run Wednesday through Sunday at the Jefferson College field house in Hillsboro.
