AmerenUE donates truck to Arnold

On Nov. 12, AmerenUE donated a used 37-foot bucket truck to the City of
Arnold. The truck will be used for streetlight maintenance and

KSDK -- Authorities have told NewsChannel 5 that one person is dead after a shooting in Imperial.

The shooting happened around 8:15 p.m. outside a strip club on Jeffco Boulevard, according to Col. Meinberg, a spokesman for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities have a suspect in custody. Meinberg said the suspect and victim were familiar with each other.

JEFFERSON COUNTY — Todd Meine, 42, was charged Friday with first-degree murder and armed criminal action after a shooting about 8:15 p.m. Thursday outside the Club Imperial, in the 4300 block of JeffCo Boulevard. Meine, of the 7200 block of Meramar Drive in St. Louis County, is accused of killing a man in his 30s in the parking lot. The victim's name was withheld pending notification of relatives. The suspect was arrested at the scene and held in lieu of $1 million bail. Investigators did not reveal a motive.

A man shot to death Thursday night outside an Imperial nightclub had moved to the area less than two years ago to rebuild his life, his brother said Saturday.

Matthew Crumly, 34, was shot once in the chest after a quarrel with another customer at the Club Imperial, authorities said. Todd Meine, 42, of south St. Louis County, was charged Friday with Crumly's murder.
